The mud laboratory provides different composition measurements, such as:

• determining the water content of curative mud and peat (peloids)

• determining the mineral composition of curative mud and peat

• studying the organic components of curative mud and peat, determining the antioxidant substance content, determining the toxin content as well as

• grinding curative mud and peat with a disintegrator.

 
The lab also carries out research on the therapeutic effect, as well as product development of, curative mud and peat.
 
For miners of curative mud and peat; processors, producers and exporters of curative mud; service providers; organic cosmetics producers; occupational physicians, general practitioners and rehabilitation doctors the mud lab can provide research and development for various applications.
