Selena Project has four main goals:
• To create products that are environmentally friendly, practical, and made of high-quality materials. Main products are reusable sanitary pads and by-products are reusable nursing pads, small bags for carrying unused and used pads, spray for ease cleaning of used pads and hair scrunchies made of leftover fabrics
• To create jobs for persons who are in vulnerable positions; employing persons living in refugee camps or accommodation centres
• To help girls and women to have better menstrual hygiene and freedom to be active members of the community while contributing to everyone’s fundamental right to dignified and safe menstruation
• To create a business and manufacturing model that is easy to move from place to place or copy to another location
