In a couple of straight forward words, our butterfly friendly bus stop consists of bee friendly flower beds located on the top of a set of selected bus stops in the capital Tallinn and big Estonian cities.
Planting flowers on the top of the bus stops enhances the greenery in the city, provides butterflies and pollinators with “food stations” for cross pollination, promotes biodiversity, and functions as extra filters to improve the air quality in heavy traffic lanes subsequently reducing the ecological footprint by carbon dioxide.
