Piret Vacht (PhD in ecology 2020) is an Associate Professor of Environmental Management at Tallinn University. Her research and teaching areas include urban ecology and nature-based solutions, nature conservation management, soil science, environmental management, and environmental communication. In addition, she contributes to several microdegree programmes, focusing on environmental management, sustainability, and environmental health. She has experience in developing educational materials for both general education schools and adult learners. She has also enhanced her expertise in environmental communication through an Erasmus+ exchange at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU).
