Merike Sisask is a professor of social health care at Tallinn University, School of Governance, Law and Society (SOGOLAS), board member of the Estonian-Swedish Institute of Mental Health and Suicidology Institute (ERSI) and council member of the Estonian Mental Health and Well-being Coalition (VATEK). Her main areas of research interest are social determinants of mental health and well-being, prevention of suicidal behaviours from a public health perspective, and evaluation of prevention programs that support mental health.
